Life Membership criteria

A doctor who is MD in Pulmonary Medicine/Respiratory Medicine/TB & Chest/TB & Respiratory Diseases/General Internal Medicine, from any University.
Diploma holders in Respiratory Medicine or DNB in Respiratory Medicine.
A MBBS doctor who is a physician working and practicing in Pulmonary Medicine.

Associate Membership criteria

Associate members can neither vote nor stand for elections to the Governing Body.
Postgraduate students can become Associate Members by submitting a certification from their Head of Department stating that they have been registered for MD in Respiratory Medicine. Upon submission of their MD certificate to the UKICS, their membership will be converted to the Life Membership category.
Any other physician holding MD or diploma may also become an Associate Member of the Society.
PG Students/Research Scholars working in Pulmonary Medicine.
Diploma holders in Respiratory Medicine or DNB in Respiratory Medicine.
A MBBS doctor who is a physician working and practicing in Pulmonary Medicine.
